Harborview Market, located at 218 Harborview Avenue in Bridgeport, started as a Swedish goods market and evolved into a full grocery store and butcher shop before the Torres family restored the property in 1993. Now, the establishment serves as an eatery offering casual breakfast and lunch options, according to the website.
Harborview Market provides everything from gourmet coffees to baked goods, soups, breakfast sandwiches, and much more. Diners can enjoy both indoor and outdoor seating.
Despite its ranking as a “hidden gem,” Harborview Market has garnered quite a bit of popularity on its Facebook page. The eatery sits comfortably with a 4.6/5 star rating and has upwards of 300 reviewers.
“Love it! Almond Croissants are the best! The cookies are delicious too! Great vibe! Great place to eat and chill! Very comfy and delicious breakfast!” Paul Molnar wrote in a Nov. 12 review.
